Easter Bunny came to visit...

Our New T.V.

Stefan told Lexi that once we got her room all together that we were going to give her our t.v. in our bedroom(32') and we would move the one in the living room to our room(37') and get a new one for the living room. Well we decided to go ahead and get one this weekend because it was on sale. We got a huge 47' LG for the living room. I think Stefan told Lexi this for an excuse to get a bigger t.v. in the living room!! LOL-- But it's okay, I really like it too!

Getting TOO Big!

Daddy and Papa-Daddy went outside to look at something on my car and Jade and I decided to go out with them. Papa-Daddy put his hat on Jade's head and I just thought he looked too cute! :)

Stories Page

I made a page of My Pregnancy/Jade's Birth Story. I have been working on this for about a week and it means alot to me. :) I want Jade to have this to look at one day and read all about us. I plan to keep making them, of his first year and other different things! (It's over there on the right side under Stories at the top.) Check it out if you get a chance, it's a little long, but hope yall enjoy! We sure do!! :)

Easter Egg Hunt

Today was the Easter Egg Hunt at church. And.. we did not know it until today. lol, We haven't been able to go to church in a couple of weeks because all of us were sick and then Stefan's surgery. It was so... good to be back!!

Lexi's New Curtains

Of course, it has to be Hannah Montana. lol, We got these while we were at Wal-Mart and we think they turned out pretty cute. Lexi loves them! :)

Our New Pets

We went to Wal-Mart today and told Lexi that we were going to get her a present for the help while Stefan was recovering from surgery. She was such a good helper! We thought she would just want a DS game or something like that. Well, we went by the fish and she decided she wanted a fish. We ended up getting 4 fish.

We told Lexi to not get too attached to these fish. lol, We haven't taken care of them in a while and we hope they work out for us. The last fish I had when I was younger did not make it... But hopefully these will!  

Our Morning Scare...

Like a normal morning, I got up and got Lexi up to start getting ready. Usually by the time Lexi gets done getting ready, Jade is ready to get up. Well, I was in the bathroom getting ready and Lexi went in our bedroom to get Jade. (Like I said, we do this almost every morning.) Well, she went to put him in his high chair to play while Daddy was getting up. All the sudden, we hear things falling. Stefan and I both run to the living room and Lexi is in the floor holding Jade. She had went to put him in and was getting the top into place to hold him in. He was in a playful mood so he was kicking the top. Well, the top fell and Lexi went to catch the top and then along came Jade falling head forward. Lexi let go of the top and caught Jade before his head hit anything--just his knees ending up going to the floor. Jade fussed for just a second because it scared him, but he was perfectly fine. Poor Lexi, it scared her so bad. She was crying hysterically. She loves her Bubba so much and it scares her when he is sick or anything like that. We then explained to her that she did such a good job at getting him and not worrying about the other stuff. We also told her it could of happened to any of us and that it was not her fault. Mr. Kicker just got excited!

I just want to thank God that this situation worked out the way it did! We are so thankful that Lexi was there and was able to get him!

We love you Lexi and thank you for everything you do to help us out with Mr. Jade!!

My Big Baby is Better!!

Stefan went to the doctor today and they said everything looked good! He said in one area where he was cut, it was a little pink. Said it was normal and just gave him some medicine to make sure it don't turn into a infection. :) The good news is he can help me with Jade!!! YAY!! We are both so happy about that! The doctor just said to use common sense and start picking up little by little. So, he gets to come back to work on Monday. He is very ready to get back to our normal days, and me too!
Also, my little babies are well too! Cross your fingers... And hopefully we can all stay well!

5 Months

Is my little baby really 5 months?? My goodness, where does all this time go. I feel like I was just doing a post of his 4 month old check-up. Well, just wanted to tell yall some things going on with Mr. Jade.

--His normal sleeping pattern at night is going to bed about 9:30 and he get's up to eat at 3 or 4 a.m. (He was sleeping longer before teething started.)
--He has been teething for almost 2 months now. And no teeth yet! I really wish some would come popping through so they don't hurt him as bad.
--His favorite food is still squash and pears. He will eat others, but these are the favorites! And, he would really just eat squash! He LOVES it!
--He knows how to "talk" very well. He has got the ooo's and aaa's down pat!
-He is a very happy baby unless he is hurting! :)
--Lately, he has started putting his feet in his mouth. This just started and he does it all the time now! It's too funny!

Im going to post some pictures as soon as I get some time! Taking care of all these babies don't give me very much time for blogging. :)

Also, Stefan is getting better everyday. He goes back to the doctor on Wednesday so hopefully the doctor will say he can pick up Jade!!

It's Official...

I am super excited... I am changing departments at work.. to REAL ESTATE!! I just found out a few minutes ago that I got the position! I am very excited for a change. I love my position now and the girls I work with, just ready for something new! :)

ANOTHER ear infection

Yesterday, I took Jade back to the doctor. He was starting to mess with his ear's on Sunday and I could tell he was hurting. Well we went in there and she told me what I already knew. I really don't know why he keeps getting them. I don't let anyone smoke anywhere near him, we bundle him up every time we go outside, and we try very hard to not let water get in his ear's during his bath. So why is he still getting them?? Well, she gave him some more medicine so hopefully, cross your fingers, this will finally get rid of it! I really don't want him to have to get tubes in his ear's, but if it keeps going like this, I'm sure he will have to. :(

Oh.. he gained more weight! He was 16.1 pounds! He's getting to be a big boy!

Furniture Delivered!

We went to Ashley Furniture a couple of weeks ago and ordered us a couple new things! We have went in this store plenty of times and I always would go look at this bed for Lexi every time we went in there. So, we decided we would go ahead and get it for her and surprise her! Well the surprise didn't work, we couldn't stand not telling her! lol But she loves it!! And we decided to get a new rug, coffee table, and end tables for the living room! I think it's all coming together! Just a couple more little things and I will be done in the living room!

Stefan was asleep on the couch and Jade was asleep in his swing so they are not great pictures, but just wanted to show yall!

Surgery

Surgery went great! We had to be there at 6:00 a.m. this morning and they took him back about 7:00. The surgeon was so nice! He prayed with us before they took him which made me feel alot better. They called me in the waiting room at 8:25 and said they had started the surgery. Then called back at 9:30 and said everything was going really good. Then at 10:20 the surgery was over and Stefan went to recovery. The surgeon came down to talk to Rod (Stefan's dad) and I. He said everything went great and that we would be able to see him soon! Goodness, he was too funny! They had him on all that medicine and he was saying some funny stuff! :) Well, we got home about 3:15. Everything is still going good at home, Stefan is just sleeping away. The kids just left from visiting us. Rod brought them over about 6:30 so that we could see them and then they went back to stay with them tonight. We are so thankful for all of our family! They are just wonderful to us and we could not ask for a better family! Hopefully tomorrow Stefan will be feeling better and getting up and walking around a little better and the kids can come home and stay! I could just tell from the couple of hours they were here, it's going to be tuff. Jade needs my attention at all times and Stefan does right now too. And Lexi is more on her own but needs me at times also. 3 babies and 1 me.. Goodness, Help me!! But, we will make it!

Jade's Burp Cloth

Super Cute!! I got this burp cloth made from Jennifer at bamasbizzybodies.blogspot.com. It is so cute, I just love it! And it was only $10!! I will definitely be getting more things made from her!

Busy Day!

We went back to Jade's doctor today for good news!! She said that his chest sounded great and also his ear looked alot better. And he had gained his weight back, plus some!! He was 15.7 pounds! We had to get Jade a new "bather." His other one was getting too small and he would go down to far into the water. This one will not let him try to scoot down into the water!! We are super excited about that!!

As you can tell, he likes it even with his clothes on!!

Then, we had to go get mine and Lexi's glasses. I was not excited about getting these at all, but the eye doctor said I was straining my eyes and it would get worse since I work on a computer all day. Thank goodness, I only have to wear them when I am at work! On the other hand, Lexi was super excited! One of her eyes was really bad, worse than Stefan's. She said all of her friends were jealous because she was getting glasses... Kids??? lol :)

My sweet little one's ready for bed! Lexi loves to play and hold Jade. She is such a good helper! She always wants to help us in any way she can and we appreciate it very much! We love our babies so much! :)

Update on Stefan's Surgery..

The surgeon called back this morning and asked if we would mind moving the surgery back another day. He said that a cancer patient needed surgery on that day and asked if we could wait till Friday. Of course we would not say "No" in a situation like this. So, it is now on Friday at 6:00 a.m.

My little stinker! We were getting ready for work and he was still asleep in his bed. Well, about 10 minutes later I hear him grunting. And then I walk in and see him in our bed. lol He just thought it was so funny! He scooted his butt down and ended up in our bed. ( He is not able to go off the other side. :) )

With the remote... He is going to be a typical man one day! haha :) Whatever I have in my hand, he wants to hold it for me!

And.. the things we have to do to get this boy to sleep!! :) He will be so beyond tired but he is just so afraid he will miss something!

Fire, Fire, Fire

Wild, Wild! About 2:30 on Friday we saw this. This was a old tire warehouse that caught on fire. This was on 1st Avenue North, just 3 streets over from work. This made for a crazy day. They shut down the interstate and traffic was TERRIBLE!! The power went out and we had to stay a little late. We left at 6:45 and the interstate was still shut down. And it had started smoking a good bit again. Thank goodness we were past where they were letting people get on. My poor grandmother left work at 6:00, from Hoover, and it took her 2 hours and 45 minutes to get to Gardendale.
