What a weekend...

Goodness.. what a weekend! Jade has not felt good all weekend long and Stefan had to go on a fire call Saturday and he was gone for 5 hours. There was a huge forest fire on Buddy Vines Camp Rd. It just kept spreading.. I got worried after about a hour and went up there and it was huge! I wish I would have had my camera.. Thankfully it didn't get to anyone's house-- very very close but they were able to get there in time!

Jade has finally started feeling a little better this afternoon. Thank goodness! I took these pictures today. We got a high-chair Friday while we were out. We knew he would start needing it so we went ahead and got it! He really likes it! It's got wheels and Lexi had a good time pushing him around!

4 Month Check-Up

Stefan and I took off work today so we could get some things done and also because we had to take Jade to the doctor. The doctor said everything looked great! He was 15.2 pounds and 26 1/2 inches long. His head was 43 1/2. He is getting to be a big boy. But he also had to get shots. :( He had to get 2 in one leg, 1 in the other leg, and some shot they turned into medicine he could take. And, oh my goodness, he is pitiful! At his 2 month check-up, he didn't even act like the shots bothered him.. But this time, if you even get close to his leg, he will just cry and cry. We feel so bad for him. He has been running a little bit of a fever and is also congested.. so it's probably not going to be a good night.

But, the good news is, the doctor told us that we can start feeding him any of the foods-- except for the meats. We have already been feeding him a little bit, but we are excited that he can start eating 1st foods all the time!!

Just a few things about Jade we have found out...
--He loves his passy
--He loves his bath :)
--He loves playing with his big sister, and she loves it too!
--He loves to be held.. all the time! Spoiled little boy!
--He does not like bananas
--He does not like peaches

Stefan's Surgery..

We just scheduled Stefan's surgery for March 25th. He has to go back and get another hernia taking out. He will be out of work for 2 weeks. He will not get to hold or pick up Jade or Lexi for those 2 weeks. :( Please remember us in your prayers.

Our little boy is getting so big! One morning this week while we were getting ready for work, we put Jade in front of the t.v. to watch cartoons! As you can tell, he loves it! He won't even take his eyes off the t.v. to look at me!

He LOVES his little teddy bear also! :)

Jade will be 4 months old Saturday. I really cannot believe it! It seems like just last week we were coming home from the hospital. It's so scary.. just a matter of time he will be all grown up. :( We are just trying to cherish every moment with him because it's going by so fast.

The Pretty Snow!!! :)

The snow is so pretty!! This is me and April at work. We just had to go outside to play and to take a quick picture!

This was Jade's 2nd snow. The 1st snow we didn't go out and get in it, we just went on the porch. This time we did! He was not sure about it this time, he did not like when the snow-flakes hit him in the face. But who does..its COLD! :)

Lexi was warm and ready!! She was ready to go play. :)

Mommy and Jade!!

We had a fun snow day! We loved that we were all home together and got to spend some quality time together. It was good to just have fun and not worry about the things we needed to do right then!

Just wanted to show yall Jade's 1st snow. Sorry, this is not a good picture... I was still on maternity leave and by myself. :) Jade was 1month and 2weeks old in this picture.

Hoping for SNOW!!

We are all hoping for snow! We want to stay at home and be with the kids! They are saying there are good chances, but of course, we will probably have to be at work. :( We can only hope!!!

Talladega!!!

We went to Talladega on Saturday for the Wild Game Cook-off for work. Stefan decided that he wanted to ride in the pace car around the track! I went out there just to take pictures... Well, the guy driving the car told Stefan to tell me to come on and get it. I was so.. Nervous!! After the first lap I really enjoyed it. We went 160 mph! It was awesome and is something that Stefan and I will never forget. I am so glad that we were able to do this together!!

We just recently got our ceremony pictures back and I figured that these could be my first post. I thought they turned out really cute.
